English-speaking wedding celebrant based in Nerja, Spain.

After living in Spain for more than 22 years and worked in the Wedding industry for almost all of that time, originally as a wedding entertainer and then as a wedding planner, with hundreds of weddings under my belt! In recent times, I have been offering my services as an independent wedding celebrant and have been proving very popular with my clients. Having heard many hundreds of wedding ceremonies delivered by a wide range of celebrants over the years, I have developed my own skills based on the best of them! I create handwritten, personalised Wedding ceremonies for my couples and deliver them with warmth and maybe a touch of humour, making you, the couple, feel at ease as you give your vows in front of your family and friends. 

As I am based very close to Nerja, to the east of Malaga, I could be the perfect wedding celebrant to officiate your Nerja Wedding.

Originally from Aylesbury, in the county of Buckinghamshire, UK, I am a native English speaker and also have an intermediate level of Spanish. Of course, wedding ceremonies in English are my speciality. I provide a speaker and wireless microphone system as standard for all my ceremonies, and I keep my pricing very competitive, as I don't believe being greedy is a good trait to have!

If you are not looking for the kind of wedding ceremony officiated by a celebrant, then the other option, for Catholics at least, is the wonderful Nerja Church. I also offer church arrangements and coordination for couples who wish to take that route. A wedding ceremony officiated by a Wedding celebrant is a non-binding, symbolic ceremony, meaning you will still need to legalise the wedding at your home registry office. It's often the easiest way to enjoy your ceremony in front of your family and friends, at your venue of choice, while keeping the registry office as a simpler affair. Unless you are a resident of Spain, you cannot legally and fully marry here, unless it's under the Catholic Church.
